This is my first sewing book review and I hope you'll enjoy this post. I'm planning to post more sewing/craft book reviews in the future.

Today we're looking at Otome no Sewing Book 7 (乙女のソーイングBOOK 手作りのロリータファッション). I have book 4 to 7. As of 2018, they have released book 12.
I've stopped buying this series after book 7 because EGL's patterns are similar and doesn't change much.
If you buy 2 to 3 of the books, you'll get most of the designs. But this is just from my point of view, you're welcome to buy more of the series to get design ideas.
When I first came across this series I was excited because it was a magazine that was dedicated to EGL outfits. Gothic & Lolita Bible is nice to look through, but the pattern tutorials were more for bags or accessories.

This is the content page. It lists the outfits in order. See below for some preview pictures of outfits:

This outfit reminds me of little bo peep

This book has more sweet lolita designs.

After the the outfit previews, it has selected tutorial tips. It's helpful to get the fine details in the outfit.

This was a tutorial on the little bo peep hat.

This was a tutorial putting an outfit together with a zipper.

At the end of the magazine they give you the hold out patterns for the dresses and assessories.

In conclusion, book 7 has more sweet lolita theme dresses. I do like this series and the step by step picture tutorials is good. If you're looking for ELG dress patterns, this is the book for you.
(This series calls itself a book, but it's more like a magazine, I really want to refer this as a magazine and not a book).
