Welcome to Niji Spiral.
It’s all about photography, cooking and craft/sewing.
Niji Spiral is based in Australia. It was first created to showcase my photography and now it is a place where I can share my cooking recipes and craft/sewing projects. It is fun to do activities at home with family and friend or by yourself.
Niji (虹) means rainbow in Japanese and Spiral (スパイラル) means winding in a continuous curve. When I see the rainbow, it always makes me feel happy and I want to share that happiness with you. I want to share with everyone my recipes and projects. Whether it is big or small, as long as you are having fun with the projects.
This website has three blogs to explore:
Photo Blog
My father gave me a film camera when in was in high school and then the rest set in stone. In the present days, everyone uses their phones to take photo but I still like playing with film (BlackBird Fly is still my favourite). This blog has an area called Weekly Photo blog. I use a toy camera because I like the lo-fi/vintage look.
I use to focus on concert photography (view photo on Flickr) but as life gets more busy now I can't go out late at night.
Cooking Blog (Cook with me)
I’m not the best cook in town and I do prefer to cook desserts. I love my mum’s cooking but when I try and recreate the meals, it always turns out different. Cooking dessert is fun but it is not filling for dinner meals. Please join me in learning how to cook better and cook simple meals. I like to use less cooking pots and if I can try, I like to do a 1 pot meal option. Why? Because there will be less things for me to wash.
Craft Blog (Clover Style)
In my spare time I like to do sewing. It's nice to make things yourself and save money. I love learning new hacks snd tricks. I like to make plushies and give it away to friends.
When I buy new sewing/craft books I'll post reviews on my blog.
Please enjoy the videos on YouTube and blog posts. Thank you for visiting Niji Spiral.
