STORY:
Another lifetime, another hard life—Letitia’s misery continues as her uncle sends her off to the “Monster Lord” to fulfill an old pledge. Imp attacks! The three witches! A hideous masked devil hunter husband! Terrifying is an understatement. But as she becomes the lady of Halstead, the rumors fall apart. Lord Erden is caring, he likes bunnies, and that *gasp* perfect face under the mask! How can he not know he’s HOT? Can she help protect the castle from devils and help Erden see his true self?

My thoughts:
This is another ‘I read my favourite book and I woke up in the book’s world’ story. There is only one FL (Female Lead) and ML (Male Lead). It is a cute story where both characters grow. Well, the FL does more developing. The ML likes to blush and be shy a lot.
The story is good and keeps you reading. I was suffering from too much bad Manhwa stories. This manhwa helped pull me back on track again. Also, the couple doesn’t have too much miscommunication (YAY!). It gets tiring when the story drags out the miscommunication for a long time.
This is an isekai story. Normally the FL gets hit by Truck-kun, although this was different! You’ll find out in Chapter 1.
Story:
This is one of those story lines that starts with the ML grew up lonely because he’s parents died when he was younger and now he lives in the North, which is cold and full of snow. Of course, there are rumours about him being ugly.
The story starts with FL Letitia as child. Her parents died when she is young and she has to live with her ungrateful uncle, auntie and their daughter. Their family gets a proposal for marriage from ML but the daughter doesn’t want to be married to an ugly person and live in the freezing North. So, they made FL go to the North instead.
Throughout the story, FL helps the North a lot with her ideas from the modern world.
One thing that was annoying in the story was the divorce papers. It did drag on, but it is part of the story line.
Characters:
Both FL Letitia and ML Lord Erden are lovable characters. ML grows a little. As an adult he is always shy and embarrassed. I don’t mind a blushing ML but throughout the story, it get a bit tiring. FL is of course the star of the show. When she was a child and an adult, you can see her shine with confidence. She’s a smart FL and can fight back. She is amazing and comes up with amazing plans. At the end of an eventful chapters, it will leave you thinking the FL is the queen (it will leave you breathless and admire her).
Even the side characters are likeable, like the maids in ML’s castle. The maids are actually helpful (unlike other manhwa’s where they are always scared) and you’ll find out why when the castle is under attack!
The three grandmas are very cute and all three has their own loveable personalities. The three grandmas are the comic relief in some parts of the story.
The only characters that you will dislike is FL’s family members. But without them, you won’t feel sorry for the FL’s storyline.
Art:
The art is AMAZING. 5 out of 5! The FL gets different clothes to wear and all the outfits are pretty. It is nice when they give different clothes to the characters. ML has he’s mask and suit.. but that’s he’s main attire. I love it when the artist does a chibi style drawing. It happens a lot in this manhwa and it is in the cute moments or the funny moments.
My favourite art in this manhwa is looking at Lord Erden’s eyes <3 It is like cotton candy, blue-purple colour.
